PRESS RELEASE: Teledyne DALSA to Host Webinar on Selecting the Right Camera for Vision Applications

WATERLOO, Ontario August 27, 2013 - Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and a global leader in machine vision technology, announced that it will host a complimentary webinar titled, “Selecting the Right Camera for Vision Applications,” on Tuesday, September 17th at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The live webinar, presented by Fernando Serra, Machine Vision Specialist for Teledyne DALSA, will highlight design considerations when selecting the right camera for a given inspection task.

Factory automation applications vary widely, and choosing the right camera for a particular application can be confusing. Camera resolution, optics, lighting and environmental factors all need to be considered for a successful application. Critical elements that will be highlighted include: selecting sensor type and resolution based on application needs, how to choose the best vision camera based on environmental factors and matching appropriate lighting to accentuate features for great inspection reliability.
