Linea cameras deliver high speed and flexibility, and help lower the cost of inspection for an ever-widening array of applications.

The newly released Linea 8k model uses Teledyne DALSA’s high sensitivity CMOS sensor with 7.04x7.04 μm pixel size and delivers a maximum line rate of up to 45 kHz with the company’s latest innovation, TurboDrive™. TurboDrive is a proprietary and patent-pending technology that allows all Linea GigE models to utilize the full speed of the sensor with no loss of image quality.

All Linea GigE line scan cameras take full advantage of SaperaTM LT Software Development Kit (SDK) which enables easy configuration and setup, and includes Teledyne DALSA’s powerful Trigger-to-Image-ReliabilityTM diagnostic and monitoring tools. Similar to other Linea GigE Vision models, the Linea 8k GigE Vision camera is packed with advanced features, and delivers superior performance at an unprecedented price point.

With their unmatched feature set, low-cost and high speed, Linea cameras are well-positioned to replace more expensive cameras or camera and frame grabber combinations, reducing overall system cost and complexity.

• TurboDrive defies the GigE bandwidth limitation, acquiring 8k pixels at up to 45kHz.
• Cycling mode allows users to cycle through preset camera parameters, gain, exposure time, I/O outputs and FFC coefficients for each line.
• Extended dynamic range combines short and long exposure images to output images with high contrast in both dark and bright areas; this increases the likelihood of defect detection.
• Burst Mode maximizes system data throughput, allowing users to acquire images at full speed and transfer during idle times.
