DALSA Announces Retirement of Board Member

Waterloo, Ontario  - DALSA Corporation (TSX:DSA), an international leader in high performance digital imaging and semiconductors, announced today that Derek Brown will retire from the Company’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Brown’s departure follows his submission of a letter of resignation, which was accepted yesterday by the Company’s Chairman. Mr. Brown has served as a Director of the Company since 2005.

"Over the past five years, Derek has contributed significantly to the Board and to DALSA," said Savvas Chamberlain, Chairman and Founder of DALSA. "I would like to acknowledge his contributions and wish him all the best in the future."
