Solar Novus Today published an article entitled, "Automating Solar Cell Inspection," written by Xing-Fei He, Teledyne DALSA Senior Product Manager. The article describes the technology behind the new Piranha HS NIR camera and highlights its capabilities in solar cell inspection applications. It also discusses how using TDI linescan technology with a machine-vision camera that has enhanced NIR sensitivity and high resolution makes it possible to check every wafer immediately after every processing step in which defects may be introduced.
