High Speed and High Responsivity—in Color
Based on Teledyne DALSA's unique line scan CMOS sensor architecture, the new Piranha4 line scan cameras provide outstanding signal-to-noise for high speed imaging. The P4-8k has 8k resolution with a 7.04 μm x 7.04 μm pixel size for optimized optical design. The camera delivers a max line rate of 50 kHz with color output.
The Piranha4 Color's bilinear 8k sensor arranges red and blue color pixels alternating in one line and all the green pixels in the other line with no spacing between the lines. The camera offers several color output format options, including RGB, RG/BG, or G only to meet different imaging requirements.
Precise sensor alignment simplifies multiple camera calibration at the system level. The camera delivers a throughput of 573 MPix/s using the Camera Link™ interface. An advanced GenICam™ compliant interface makes the camera easier to setup, control, and integrate. Programmability includes exposure control, flat field correction, and gain settings.
