PRESS RELEASE: Teledyne DALSA Showcases CMOS and NIR Imaging Capabilities at The Vision Show

WATERLOO, Ontario - May 3, 2012 - Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and a global leader in machine vision technology, will showcase its latest cameras and machine vision solutions at The Vision Show at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA, May 8 - 10, 2012. Teledyne DALSA's full range of image sensors, cameras, smart cameras, frame grabbers, software, and vision solutions will be on display in Booth 317.

Attendees will also learn how Teledyne DALSA is integrating the new Camera Link HS (CLHS) standard.

Advanced Color Machine Vision and Applications (Monday, May 7, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.): Dr. Ben Dawson, Teledyne DALSA Industrial Products Division, Director of Strategic Development, will instruct Tutorial 2 - CVP-Advanced Certification Class.

Camera Link HS (Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.): Mike Miethig, Teledyne DALSA R & D Manager and Chair of AIA CLHS Committee, will be on hand to answer questions regarding CLHS technology and Teledyne DALSA's new CLHS products.

Introduction to 3D Vision Techniques (Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.): Dr. Ben Dawson, will instruct Session 2.

Optimizing Camera Interface Standards (Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.): Eric Carey, Teledyne DALSA Director of Research & Development and Chairman of the AIA GigE Vision Standards Committee, will present on "Camera Interface Technologies" (Session 3). As part of a panel of industry experts, Carey will discuss how changes developing in camera interface technologies will positively affect machine vision systems.
