DALSA Announces Completion of Waterloo Land Sale

Waterloo ON, September 4, 2007 - DALSA Corporation (TSX: DSA) announced today that it has completed an agreement originally announced in May to sell approximately 37 acres of land in Waterloo to Research in Motion (RIM). The proceeds of the transaction are approximately $11.6 million.

DALSA, which owns approximately 19 adjacent acres, is jointly developing lands at the intersection of University Avenue East and Northfield Drive East in Northeast Waterloo with RIM. Both companies are planning to use their respective parcels of land for future expansion.
