Development Manager CMOS Imaging

The Development Manager will be coaching a team of imaging experts in the design, simulation and evaluation of CMOS imagers. As a technical expert, the candidate will actively participate in the design activities and thus should have a solid experience in CMOS imaging, preferably on all aspects (pixel, analog and digital circuitry; device physics, simulations, design and evaluation).  

 

As Development Manager CMOS Imaging you will work closely with other teams within R&D and Industrial Operations, e.g. Test and Application Development and Product Engineering. The candidate will report to the R&D Director, located in Eindhoven.

 The primary responsibilities for the candidate will be

·        Leading a team of experienced CMOS designers to deliver new CMOS imagers according to agreed specification and schedule.

·        Contributions to the architecture and specifications for the CMOS imagers that need to be developed

·         Contributions to the design of the (analog) circuits of  CMOS image sensors

·         The simulation and characterization of imagers

·         Reporting the status, progress and bottlenecks of the progress of the development activities

 

Additionally, the candidate will

·        Contribute to research, design and evaluation of novel CMOS imager test structures for implementation on foundry shuttle runs

·         Perform benchmark activities w.r.t. CMOS imager performance

The job requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, with at least five years of industrial experience in several aspects of imager design and proven team / project management skills. Experience in analog design is essential.

The job requires the applicant to work together with other highly trained professionals in technologically challenging, multi-disciplinary projects.
